Realme 3 Pro Roundup: From Price in India to Specifications and Features, Here’s What Expected

Realme 3 Pro
Realme 3 Pro will finally be officially unveiled in India at an event in Delhi University tomorrow. Just like the Realme 2 Pro last year, the Realme 3 Pro is expected to be a game-changing device for the company. The smartphone will be a direct competitor to the extremely popular Redmi Note 7 Pro, which happens to be the most powerful budget Android smartphone on sale in the country currently. Ahead of the formal launch tomorrow, here is a roundup of everything that we know about the upcoming Realme smartphone.

Realme 3 Pro Expected Price in India

The Realme 3 Pro is expected to be priced under INR 15,000 in India. Since Realme has its eyes on the Redmi Note 7 Pro with the Realme 3 Pro, there is a good chance that the base variant of the Realme 3 Pro will be priced around INR 14,000. The top-end variant, on the other hand, could be priced closer to INR 18,000. Unlike the Realme 2 Pro, which has a top-end variant with 8GB RAM, the Realme 3 Pro is expected to be available with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The base variant, on the other hand, will pack 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Realme held a special blind sale on Friday, giving five thousand Realme fans an opportunity to be among the first to get their hands on the Realme 3 Pro. The smartphone’s first sale date will be announced tomorrow. It will be sold online via Flipkart.

Realme 3 Pro Expected Features and Specifications

The Realme 3 Pro was certified by the Bluetooth SIG earlier this month. Thanks to the Bluetooth certification, a few of the smartphone’s key specs have been confirmed. Just like the Realme 2 Pro, the Realme 3 Pro will have a 6.3-inch Full HD+ resolution display. Apart from the display size, the listing revealed a 3960mAh capacity battery, ColorOS 6.0 software, and a fingerprint sensor. The upcoming Realme smartphone recently made an appearance on the Geekbench database as well, confirming the presence of a Snapdragon 710 chipset under the hood. According to a new leak, the Realme 3 Pro will be available in three memory configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
For optics, Realme 3 Pro is said to feature a 16MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear with a Sony IMX519 primary sensor. On the front will be a 25MP snapper for selfies and video calls. While the Bluetooth SIG listing had revealed the minimum capacity of the smartphone’s battery, the latest leak tells us the smartphone will have a 4045mAh typical capacity battery. Even though the smartphone will have fast charging support, it will reportedly ship with a 10W charger in the box.
Aside from the leaks, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has also been confirming some of the key features of the Realme 3 Pro on Twitter. The Realme 3 Pro will be the first smartphone in its segment to have native support for Fortnite. In terms of imaging, Sheth recently revealed the smartphone will have an Ultra HD mode that will allow users to capture 64-megapixel shots, likely using pixel binning. Some of the other features teased by Realme include HyperBoost for improved gaming experience, super slo-mo video recording, and a burst mode.
