Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings’ sub-brand Infinix has added a new smartphone called Smart 3 Plus to its product portfolio in India. The handset comes as a successor to the Smart 2 and is the most-affordable with triple rear cameras at the moment. The Infinix Smart 3 Plus also boasts of a dewdrop-style notch display, latest Android OS, dedicated microSD card slot, and a fingerprint sensor.

Infinix Smart 3 Plus price, availability
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus price in India is set at Rs 6,999. The handset flaunts a glass unibody design and comes in Midnight Black and Sapphire Cyan colour options. Interested buyers can grab the phone via the e-commerce platform Flipkart starting from April 30th.

Coming to the specifications, the Infinix Smart 3 Plus flaunts an almost bezel-less 6.2-inch display with HD+ resolution, a chin, and a small cut-out up top – which is home to the selfie camera. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s entry-level Helio A22 quad-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, which is user expandable up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
For photography, the impetus is on Smart 3 Plus’ 13-megapixel (f/1.8) + 2-megapixel + a lowlight sensor on the rear, which is paired with PDAF, dual LED flash, Auto Scene detection (up to 8 scenes), AR stickers, and modes such as AI Portrait, AI HDR, AI Beauty, AI Bokeh, Night, and Sports. The front camera gets an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0, AI, screen flash, and AR stickers.
The handset comes running Android 9 Pie-based XOS 5.0 out of the box to take care of the software side of things. A 3,500mAh battery fuels the Infinix Smart 3 Plus, and for security, it gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock tech. Lastly, the handset measures 157mm x 76mm x 7.8mm, and weighs 148 grams.
